OVERNIGHT TOSSED SALAD 
6 c. chopped lettuce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
4 tsp. pepper
6 hard boiled eggs, sliced
1 pkg. frozen peas, do not cook
1/2 lb. bacon, fried and broken in bits
1/2 c. green onions, chopped
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 c. grated Swiss cheese
1 1/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing

Place 1/2 of lettuce, salt, pepper, sugar and onions in dish. Top with eggs, peas, bacon, celery and cheese. Place the rest of lettuce on top. Spread dressing on top of lettuce. Put on tight lid and refrigerate 24 hours. Toss before serving.
