OVERNIGHT LAYERED SALAD 
1 head lettuce (1 lb.), sliced
1/2 c. thin sliced scallions
1 c. thin sliced celery
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 pkg. frozen peas
2 c. Hellmann's mayonnaise
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Place lettuce, scallions, celery, chestnuts and frozen peas in large salad bowl in layers. Cover with mayonnaise. Sprinkle over all the sugar, seasoned salt, garlic powder and Parmesan cheese.

Cover and chill up to 24 hours. Just before serving, sprinkle with:

3 hard cooked eggs, chopped
1/2 c. bacon

Arrange wedged tomatoes on top. To serve lift salad out with spoon and fork being sure to reach to bottom of bowl.
