BLOCKBUSTER CHOCOLATE CHIP
CHEESECAKE
 
1 c. Quaker oats, uncooked
1/3 c. finely chopped almonds
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 c. butter flavored Crisco

Heat oven to 350 degrees. For crust, combine all ingredients and mix well. Press onto bottom and 1 inch up the sides of a 9 inch springform pan. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.

FILLING:

3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1/3 c. milk or strong coffee
1 c. mini semi sweet chocolate pieces
2 tbsp. all purpose flour

For filling, beat first 3 ingredients at medium speed of electric mixer until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Gradually mix in milk. Set aside. Reserve 1 tablespoon of chocolate pieces; combine remainder with flour. Stir floured chocolate pieces into cream cheese mixture. Pour onto crust. Sprinkle with reserved chocolate pieces. Bake about 1 hour or until almost set. Cool completely; loosen side with knife and remove rim of pan. Chill. Serves 16.
