OATMEAL DINNER ROLLS 
1 c. old fashion oatmeal (not instant)
2 c. boiling water
3 tbsp. butter
1 pkg. yeast (3 in a pkg.)
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. warm water
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. flour

In large mixing bowl mix and let cool: 1 cup old fashion oats, 2 cups boiling water and 3 tablespoons butter. Cool. Add 1 package yeast, 1 teaspoon sugar and 1/2 cup warm water. Mix and pour into cooled mixture. Add 2/3 cup brown sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoon salt, 4 cups flour. Mix by adding 1 cup of flour at a time. Knead. Let rise, push down, let rise again. Put in muffin pans. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
