CHOCOLATE KISS COOKIE 
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/3 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
36-48 milk chocolate kisses
Powdered sugar (to roll cookies in)

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add the flour and chopped nuts; blend well. Remove the foil from candies. Shape about tablespoon of dough around each candy, covering completely.

Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, or until set, but not brown. Cool; roll in powdered sugar and store in an airtight container. Roll in sugar again before serving, if desired. Makes 3-4 dozen.
