CHOCOLATE CRANBERRY KISS COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 c. coarsely chopped cranberries
1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts
42 milk chocolate kisses

In a mixing bowl beat butter with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds or until softened. Add the flour, sugar, egg, vanilla and baking powder. Beat until thoroughly combined. Stir in oats, cranberries and nuts.

Drop by round teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet. Place a chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie. Bake in a 375 oven for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove and cool on a wire rack. Makes 42 cookies.
