2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. baking soda

Cream shortening and powdered sugar, add eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, and soda. Add to mixture. Make ball, press palm of hand down. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Frost these with powdered sugar frosting: 1 cup powdered sugar and 2 teaspoons cream. Can decorate by adding food coloring.
