1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt

Beat together butter and sugar and add egg and vanilla. Mix together flour, baking powder and salt; add to wet mixture. Roll out, cut and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Frost with confectioners sugar frosting.
