BARBECUED SPARERIBS (Indoors) 
A rack of spareribs
Sliced onions

BARBECUE SAUCE:

Mix together:

1/2 c. catsup
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper or Tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. mustard
1 tbsp. brown sugar

Place in bottom of blue-speckled kettle a layer of small meaty spareribs. Cover with layer of sliced onions. Pour Barbecue Sauce (above) over top. Repeat layers. Cover. Bake at 325 degrees until meat is tender (2 to 2 1/2 hours). Uncover last half hour.
