BAKED BARBECUED SPARERIBS 
4 lbs. spareribs, baby or backribs
4 tbsp. fat from drippings
2 onions, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
4 tbsp. vinegar
4 tbsp. brown sugar
8 tbsp. lemon juice
2 c. catsup
1 c. water
6 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. prepared mustard
Dash of salt, chili powder, paprika, cayenne

Broil ribs until brown. Use drippings for browning onions. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes. (This makes about 4 cups.) Line bottom of roasting pan with ribs and cover each piece with some sauce. Add another layer of ribs, cover with sauce, etc., until ribs are all used up. Cover, bake at 250 degrees for 4 1/2 hours, until meat falls off bone. These are great and taste good warmed over.
