1 2/3 cups sugar
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows

Heat sugar, milk and salt, When bubbles form on edge, cook for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat; add chocolate chips, vanilla and marshmallows. Pour into pan; cool.

Variation: Chopped nuts may be added, if desired.

Makes 2 pounds.
