CHOCOLATE NUT BUTTER BARS
1 (2 layer size) pkg. yellow cake mix
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. peanuts or pecans, broken (I use pecans)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Combine cake mix, butter and 1 of eggs in a large bowl; beat until mixture is crumbly. Press evenly over bottom of pan. Beat remaining egg with sweetened condensed milk in a small bowl until blended; pour over crumb mixture; sprinkle chocolate pieces and pecans over top.

Bake 35 minutes or until golden and a wooden pick inserted into top comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut crosswise into eight and lengthwise into thirds. Wrap each bar in foil or transparent wrap. Yield: 24 bars.
