GREEN TOMATO PICKLES 
Whole small or cut green tomatoes
Small onions
Banana peppers
Hot peppers
1/2 c. sugar
1 qt. vinegar
1 c. water

Pack whole small or cut green tomatoes, small onions, banana peppers, hot peppers to taste in jars. Heat sugar, vinegar and water and bring to a boil. To each quart jar of vegetables, add 1 teaspoon of salt. Pour heated liquid over vegetables in jars and seal. Allow to set for 4 to 6 weeks at least.
