COMMUNION BREAD 
2 c. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. shortening, butter, or unsalted butter
1 egg plus enough water to make 1/2 c.

Mix all ingredients, roll out like biscuit dough. Place on baking sheet and press with communion form. Lacking a form, use the divider from a miniature ice cube tray, or just cut into small pieces with a knife.

Bake 15 min. at 350°F. Unused bread keeps well frozen.
