CHERRY COFFEECAKE 
1 c. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 c. flour
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 lg. can cherry pie filling

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating until gone. Add dry ingredients - beat again. Spread half of batter into a greased 10x15 jelly roll pan. Spread cherries carefully. Add rest of dough by spoonful and spread carefully. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Glaze with powdered sugar icing while warm.
