FRIED PEPPER STRIPS 
1 egg
1 (3 oz.) cream cheese
2 tbsp. self rising flour
1 lg. pepper (cut into 1/2 inch strips)
Oil
Salt and pepper

Combine first 3 ingredients, mixing well. Dip green pepper (or hot peppers) in cream cheese mixture, turning to coat. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
