1 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water and 1 tsp. baking soda, mix together separately then add to rest of batter
2 eggs
Little salt
2 c. flour

Put all ingredients in a bowl; mix together well. Place batter in cupcake pans with cupcake papers. Put as much chocolate chips and nuts on top. Put in a 350 degree oven. They are done when toothpick is clean, about 15 minutes to 1/2 hour depending on oven. Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
