BEST BLUE CRABS EVER! | |
1 dozen Atlantic Blue Crabs, cleaned 1/4 cup olive oil 4 garlic cloves, minced 2 cups white cooking wine 1 (12 oz.) bottle any non-light beer 1/3 cup butter 1 tbsp. Old Bay or Crab Boil seasoning 1 tsp. onion powder Get your cleaned blue claw crabs and liberally coat with Old Bay seasoning. Combine butter with 2 cloves of minced garlic in a bowl and microwave for 1:30. Cover crabs with butter and garlic mixture. In a deep saucepan with a lid, combine olive oil and remaining garlic and brown. Add in onion powder, white cooking wine, beer, and Old Bay seasoning and bring to a simmer. Use a steaming plate and place in saucepan. Place crabs with old bay and butter/garlic mixture in the sauce pan, cover, and steam for 20 to 25 minutes. Submitted by: Dan D. |
