1 3/4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. baking cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1 c. milk
1 c. boiling water

Mix all dry ingredients first, then add the rest of the ingredients, except boiling water. Mix for 2 minutes on medium speed and then add water and mix again. Batter will be very thin. Bake at 350 degrees in greased and floured pans. Makes 2 (9 inch) round pans, 30-35 minutes; 3 (8 inch) round pans, 30-35 minutes or tube pan, 45 minutes.
