CINNAMON APPLE PORK | |
2 lb. lean pork, cubed 1/8 c. vegetable oil 1 c. chicken broth 1/2 c. brown sugar 3 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/3 c. water 1/6 c. Worcestershire sauce 1 sm. can apples, sliced 1/2 c. raisins Brown pork in oil. Add chicken broth. Simmer covered, 45 to 60 minutes or until pork is tender. Combine brown sugar, corn starch and seasonings. Stir water and Worcestershire sauce into sugar - cornstarch mixture. Add to pork. Simmer, stirring until thickened, approximately 3 minutes. Stir in apples and raisins; simmer an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Serve over noodles. |
