SCALLOPED POTATOES 
1/2 stick butter
1 pt. sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Dash of pepper
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
2 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 lbs. frozen hash browns (O'Brien style, slightly thawed)

Mix all ingredients and place in greased 9 x 12 inch dish. Top with bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
