APPLE SCHMARREN 
2 eggs
2 tsp. sugar
3/8 tsp. salt
1/4 c. flour
2/3 c. milk
1 med. tart apple, sliced very thin
1 1/2 tsp. golden raisins
3 tbsp. butter
Powdered sugar

Slightly beat eggs, sugar and salt; add flour and milk and beat until smooth. Stir in apples and raisins. Use heavy 10 or 11 inch skillet. Heat butter over medium heat until bubbly, but not brown. Pour in egg mixture, spreading apples and raisins evenly. Make sure they are well coated with batter. Cook until bottom is set and well browned. Cut into four wedges with pancake turner and turn over to brown other side. Increase heat to medium high, cut into small strips about 3/4 inch wide, then turn. continue cutting and cook so all sides are well browned, about 5 minutes. Serve on warmed plates and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
