Great! Family loved it. Used a pot roast instead of flank steak and with mashed potatoes it was really good. Agree with others that less cooking time is better.

This was the best roast I've ever made (or eaten for that matter). It couldn't be any easier to prepare either. It's great served with mashed potatoes.

What size London broil seems to work best?

Best London broil EVER!!! I use reduced sodium products and add a bit of Worcestershire. My husband and I fight over the gravy and my kids love the beef. A great dinner with green beans and rice &/or crusty bread!

In the crockpot now! Can't wait! I didn't have brown gravy or Italian packet, so I used turkey gravy, beef bouillon cube, 1/3 cup Italian dressing, 1 1/4 cup water, and the ranch packet.. Hoping it will come out just as tasty! Will post another review after we try it :)

Amazing! followed directions. I used a 2 lb. London broil for 8 hours on low; didn't even need a knife to cut the meat.

This recipe was amazing. I was skeptical at first since I'm accustomed to using many ingredients in my recipes. It seemed just way too easy. As others have commented the gravy it makes is amazing. The London broil was so soft we didn't need a knife. It also had amazing flavor. I think the people who may have commented that it had no flavor went a little overboard with the water. The recipe calls for 1 1/2 cups of water only so if you overdo the water it will water down the recipe and compromise flavor. DELICIOUS. Definitely try this.

I know this is changing the recipe, but I didn't have any of the dried mixes, so I used 3/4 cup bottled italian dressing and 3/4 cup bottled ranch dressing. I cooked the meat for several hours and then lifted up the meat and added cut up red and sweet potatoes to cook under the meat. It was wonderful - the meat was tender and the gravy was flavorful without being too salty.

Was alright. Was trying to get away from the typical pot roast taste. This didn't help me to suceed.

I made this yesterday, and I was the best tasting roast that I have ever made. After mixing the ingredients and cooking in Crock-Pot for about 8 hours or until tender, I strained the juices and added another pack of gravy mix and water. Then used a little cornstarch to thicken and poured over mashed potatoes and meat. I was very good.

This recipe is awesome. Instead of using the water, I used a bottle of beer. My family loved the gravy over rice and then again on potatoes!
