MULLED WINE | |
1 c. sugar 4 c. water 2 (750 ml.) burgundy or claret wine Dissolve 1 cup sugar in 4 cups water in a large saucepan. Boil 15 minutes. Add burgundy or claret wine and heat gently. Do not boil the wine. Serve the mulled wine hot in mugs or cups. Garnish with a cinnamon stick. |
