HOT MULLED WINE | |
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 2 sticks cinnamon 1/2 lemon, cut in slices 1 qt. red wine 2 dozen whole cloves 2 c. pineapple juice 1 1/2 c. orange juice 1 1/2 c. lemon juice Make syrup by boiling sugar, water, cinnamon, lemon slices and cloves for 5 minutes. Strain syrup and the pineapple, orange and lemon juices. Heat but do not boil, 1 quart red wine. Combine juice mixture and wine. Serve very hot. Can refrigerate unused portion and reheat. |
