RITA'S PUDDING AND FILLING 
FOR PUDDING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
2 heaping tbsp. flour
2 1/2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla

FOR CREAM PUFFS:

1 1/2 c. sugar
5 tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
3 egg yolks

If you are making this filling for a pudding: Mix sugar and flour together. Add 1/2 cup milk; blend. Beat egg yolks, then add to mixture. Cook slowly over low flame adding an additional 2 cups milk slowly and stir until thickened. Add vanilla. This can be used as is, or with bananas and vanilla wafers for a wonderful banana pudding.

If you are making this as a filling for cream puffs: Follow directions for making pudding, substituting ingredients as listed.
