SPINACH SALAD 
1/2 lb. spinach, bite size
2 tbsp. toasted slivered almonds
3/4 c. shredded red cabbage
1/4 c. raisins

Place bite-size spinach in salad bowl or on individual plates. Add red cabbage, raisins and almonds.

DRESSING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
3 tbsp. minced onions
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. salad oil

Put the ingredients for the dressing in a jar and shake well. Pour over salad and serve. Yield: 8.
