SPINACH SANDWICHES 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped spinach
1/2 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, chopped and drained
2 tbsp. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sour cream
3 scallions or green onions and tops, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
Garlic powder to taste
Worcestershire sauce to taste
Mayonnaise
20 slices toasted bread (rye is good)

Thaw frozen spinach and squeeze all liquid out. Mix all other ingredients with spinach. Spread 1 slice of bread with extra mayonnaise, then spread with spinach mixture. Cut in fourths, diagonally, to make tea sandwiches.

Yield: 12 large or 50 cocktail sandwiches.
