KRINGLE 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 tbsp. water

Mix as pie crust. Pat on cookie sheet (jelly roll pan size). 1/2 c. butter 1 c. flour 3 eggs 1/2 tsp. almond extract

Heat to boiling 1 cup water and 1/2 cup butter; remove from heat. Add 1 cup flour. Beat, then add 3 eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Add 1/2 teaspoon almond extract. Bake 40 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven. Frost with powdered sugar frosting. Decorate with almonds and cherries, if desired.
