Heat 2 tablespoons Crisco in electric fry pan set at 225 degrees. Saute 3 large stalks celery, washed and cut into 1/2" pieces and 1 large onion, sliced. Flip every few minutes until tender.
Cut cooked chicken into cubes and toss in. Turn over all (chicken, onions and celery) several times. Add celery gravy and stir. Add 1 large can chicken chow mein, a little garlic powder, black pepper, salt to taste and a dash of Kikkoman soy sauce. Let simmer for approximately 5 to 6 minutes.
If too thin add 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed in a little water. If too thick, add a little water. Serve with slightly heated (in oven) chow mein noodles, rice and soy sauce. Serves 5 to 6 people.
