ALMOND CRESCENTS 
1 2/3 c. flour
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. ground blanched almonds
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. 10xxx sugar
Vanilla sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix flour and butter together, until they form crumbs. Add almonds, salt and sugar. Mix well. Cut dough into walnut size pieces and roll to form 4 inch pieces. Twist to make a crescent shape. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 12 to 15 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes. While warm, dust with vanilla sugar. Makes 20 crescents.
