ALMOND CRESCENTS 
1 c. butter
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. sugar
3/4 c. chopped almonds
2 1/3 c. flour
1/4 c. 10x sugar

Cream butter well; add next 3 ingredients and blend until smooth. Add almonds. Sift flour and add. Knead just enough to blend thoroughly. Divide dough in half and shape into a roll about an inch thick. Slice the rolls into 1/2 to 3/4 inch lengths. Roll each piece between palms to 1 1/2 to 2 inch lengths. Bend into crescent shape and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool. Then roll in 10x sugar. Yield 3 dozen.
