ALMOND POUND CAKE | |
1/2 lb. of butter 3 c. granulated sugar 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 c. sour cream 6 eggs 3 c. flour, sifted 2 tsp. almond or vanilla extract Cream butter and sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, beating well. Add eggs, 2 at a time, beating well after each. Add sour cream and almond extract. Beat in flour and soda. Mix well. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Serves 12. |
