ALMOND POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
3 sticks butter
5 eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tbsp. almond extract

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each egg. Blend dry ingredients and add alternately with milk and almond extract. Bake in greased tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour 45 minutes.
