SWEDISH ALMOND CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. almond extract
2 c. sifted flour
Pinch of salt
2/3 c. chopped almonds

Beat together butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time and beat well. Add almond extract and sifted flour with salt. Beat well, then add chopped almonds. Bake in well greased and floured fluted pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
