CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE 
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg yolks
2 1/4 c. cake flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. cold water
3 stiffly beaten egg yolks

Add ingredients as listed. Bake in 3 floured and greased pans at 300 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool in pans for 10 minutes.

ICING:

2 c. sugar
2-3 scant tbsp. cocoa
1 c. Pet milk

Cook to soft ball stage, take off fire and add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Cool slightly and add 1 egg white, beaten stiff and beat slowly until egg white is no longer seen. Don't overbeat. Spread on cake.
