QUICK MARINARA SAUCE 
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 can (29 oz.) tomato puree
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. dry basil
1 tsp. dry oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste

Heat oil in 3 quart pan, add garlic, and cook until golden. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until flavors are well blended, about 10 to 15 minutes with cover half off the pan. Yield: about 1 1/2 pints sauce.
