BARBECUED SPARE RIBS 
1 onion, chopped fine
1 clove garlic, chopped fine
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 c. ketchup
4 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
3-4 lbs. lean spare ribs
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Brown spare ribs. Set in adequate size baking pan. Combine other ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes. Pour enough sauce on spare ribs to practically cover them and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until thick.
