LUCILLE'S PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. peanut butter
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl cream butter; gradually add sugars and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in peanut butter. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.

Drop by rounded teaspoons onto baking sheet; press with back of floured fork to make criss-cross. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool immediately on wire rack. Bake at 350 degrees.
