MONKEY BREAD 
2 c. lukewarm water
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 pkgs. yeast
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. salad oil or butter
6 c. unbleached flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add sugar, salt and half of flour into mixture, then add eggs, salad oil or butter. Now beat in remaining flour. Let rise until double in bulk, then cover with wax paper. Punch dough down, then roll it out. Cut with biscuit cutter or glass. Dip cut out dough in melted butter. In a tubed cake pan, lay biscuits in alternate layers. Continue until pan is half full and let dough rise once more until it reaches the top of the pan. Bake at 350 degrees until the bread is brown.
