YATES FAMILY DINNER ROLLS 
2 cakes yeast
2 c. warm water
3 tbsp. shortening or oil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
6 c. flour

Bake at 375 for 12 to 15 minutes. Hot-rize method: Add all dry ingredients, reserving one cup flour. Heat shortening or oil with water to 225 to 230 degrees. Add to dry ingredients, mix with dough beaters and turn out on board. Knead remaining flour in (as much as you can) into dough. Put in greased bowl and let rise until doubled in bulk. Punch down and make into favorite shapes.
