ICE BOX DINNER ROLLS 
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. milk, scalded
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 c. cold water
2 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
7 1/2 c. flour, sifted

Don't kill yeast with too hot milk or water.

Combine first 2 ingredients. Stir until shortening is melted. Combine eggs, sugar and salt. Beat in cold water. Soften yeast in lukewarm water. Combine all ingredients and mix. Cover and chill overnight in refrigerator. Shape in muffin pans (greased). Let raise and bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes or until brown. Serve immediately.
