MAGGIE'S DINNER 
A large recipe; can be cut in half for family use.

Saute in large skillet, spoon off excess fat.

3 tbsp. salad oil
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 lb. hot sausage
2 c. chopped green pepper
2 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 tbsp. salt

Stir into the above ingredients:

1 c. pitted ripe olives, sliced
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms with liquid
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can tomato soup (condensed)
1 c. hot water
1 1/2 qt. jars spaghetti sauce

Also will need:

1 (12 oz.) pkg. flat egg noodles
1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Heat salad oil in skillet; add ground beef, hot sausage, green pepper, onion, celery and salt. Saute until ingredients are browned and sausage is well cooked. Spoon off extra fat.

In the meantime, cook noodles according to package directions. Drain. Put into large roasting pan or divide into two 3 quart casseroles. Add meat sauce mixture. Mix well.

Cover and bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 25 minutes. Remove cover; sprinkle on shredded Mozzarella cheese. Continue baking uncovered for an additional 10 minutes, or until heated through. Serve hot. Makes 14 to 16 servings.
