“SIMPLE WAFFLES” IS IN:

SIMPLE WAFFLES 
2 level cups all purpose flour
2 eggs, separated
4 level tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups milk
4 tbsp. melted butter

Combine dry ingredients. Add melted butter, milk and egg yolks. Mix for 30 seconds and then gently fold in egg whites that have been beaten until stiff, but not dry.

Bake in a well seasoned waffle iron that has been preheated for at least 5 minutes (or follow manufacturer's directions.

Serve with melted butter, syrup, jam, or topped with fruit preserves.

I used Canola oil instead of the butter and the waffles were great! Nice and fluffy thanks to beating the egg whites separately.

This is a great easy fast recipe. I replaced whole milk with vanilla almond milk and replaced butter with I cant believe its NOT butter LITE we are lactose intolerant and always dieting and they turned out perfect. Will make them again and again!
