EASY FRESH FRUIT TORTE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Pinch salt
Fresh fruit (peaches, apples, nectarines, berries or combination) enough to cover 9 inch pan
Sugar
Lemon juice
Cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350.

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt. Spread in a buttered and floured 9 inch springform pan. Completely cover top with fruit (overlapping fruit is fine). Sprinkle with sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon. Bake for 1 hour. Best served warm with vanilla ice cream. Serves 6.
