PROPER CHICAGO-STYLE HOT DOGS
Remember, no ketchup. In Chicago it's considered blasphemy to put ketchup on a hot dog.

all-beef franks
hot dog buns (use poppy seed buns if you know where to come up with them)
yellow mustard
sweet green relish
sliced tomatoes
diced onions
dill pickle spear
hot sport peppers (or serrano or some other kind of hot chili pepper. I usually use Mezzeta's hot chili peppers)
celery salt

Take an all-beef frank and cook it the way you see fit. Place it in the bun and top with yellow mustard, green relish, a couple of halved tomato slices, diced onions, a dill pickle spear and a couple of hot peppers. Next, sprinkle with celery salt and enjoy!

Mike - thanks for submitting this. I have ALWAYS wanted to make a true Chicago dog... but could not find exact instructions to do this, simply hit & miss idea's. Will definitely try this. Thanks again.
