ORIENTAL BEEF 'N CHICKEN OR PORK
WITH VEGETABLES
 
Stir-fry bite-size beef, chicken or pork. Set aside.

Stir fry vegetables - broccoli, green beans, water chestnuts, sliced carrots, and celery (all bite-size) - for 1 or 2 minutes. Add bite-size green peppers and sliced onions; stir-fry 1 minute. Add chicken; mix well 1 minute. Add the following sauce and cook until thickened.

SAUCE:

Combine 2 tablespoons cornstarch in 2 tablespoons cold water. Add 3 teaspoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons sherry, 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar, 3 drops sesame oil (optional) and 2 slices minced ginger.
