MONTGOMERY PIES 
1 grated lemon & juice
1 c. sugar
1 c. dark Karo
2 tsp. flour
1 pt. water

PART II:

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder

Prepare Part I as for cake. Fill 2 large unbaked pie shells with Part I. Drop Part II on top and bake in moderately hot oven until done. Serve with whipped cream.

Part I will be a custard or thick jelly.
