1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. sweet milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. boiling water

Cream sugar, shortening and cocoa; add eggs. Dissolve soda in boiling water. Add all ingredients together. Bake about 30 minutes at 350 degrees in 9 x 13 inch pan.
