TERIYAKI STEAK OR CHICKEN 
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. soya sauce
4 cloves garlic, diced
2 lb. flank steak or 2 lbs. skinless, boneless chicken breasts

Mix all ingredients together. Marinate steaks or chicken for about 8 hours, piercing with a fork every 2 hours or so. Grill over hot charcoal and serve. Meat may be frozen after marinating for preparation at a later date.
